About the role

Our Area Managers lead by example - making bold decisions and taking action if things are not working.

You'll lead a team of store managers to deliver sales and profit targets for BHF Retail. The successful Area Manager will achieve this through building an effective team of leaders and instilling a culture of high performance supported by clear objectives and inclusive working practices.
 
Overseeing around 6 home stores, you will have the passion and leadership skills to motivate a team of store managers, paid colleagues and volunteers, recognising their potential and developing succession plans. 
  
You'll work with your Regional Manager and fellow areas managers across both fascias, to take appropriate measures to meet volunteer recruitment and retention levels in every store on your area. As an influential leader you`ll play a key role by inspiring and motivating your store teams to ensure the strategic aims of the BHF are met. 
 
This role will cover Banbury, Dunstable, Edgware, Hemel Hempstead, Northampton & Watford

About you

You’ll be an experienced Area Manager/ Multi Site Manager who is confident working in a fast paced environment .You will ideally come from a large, fast paced retailer and have excellent entrepreneurial skills and a successful track record. Motivated by the knowledge your hard work will make a life -saving difference, you’ll be proactive, driven and commercially aware. In return you’ll be rewarded with autonomy in role and a supportive culture that encourages your professional development.

This position is for 35 hours and includes some weekend working.
