Since 1961, our research has transformed the way we prevent, diagnose and treat heart disease. And we’ve saved countless lives along the way. That’s what keeps us going. Join us in our fight for every heartbeat and make a difference.

We're looking for an experienced Cardiac Nurse to join the fight and be part our dynamic team supporting heart patients, their families and the general public living with cardiovascular disease.

About the role

Last year we supported over 22,000 enquirers to the service. You’ll be involved in providing high quality heart health information and support to our service users both over the telephone and in writing. You will have a professional and confident telephone manner with the ability to explain cardiac information in a clear and simple manner, demonstrating compassion as required.

Working in an office environment we help heart patients and their families every day, whether it is those living with cardiovascular disease or helping to prevent it in the first place. Utilising your knowledge and experience, you will provide support to hundreds of heart patients. This is an excellent opportunity to step away from a clinical environment and learn new skills to take your nursing career in a different direction.

About you

You will be an NMC Registered Nurse with extensive experience of cardiac nursing within an acute clinical environment. You will also have in-depth knowledge of the risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease and an up to date knowledge of a wide range of cardiac conditions, including relevant investigations and treatments.

To find out more or to arrange an informal visit, please contact Maureen Talbot, Clinical Team Manager on 020 7554 0358 or Farah Chughtai, Customer Support Manager on 020 7554 0412.

Please note this role is part-time, working Thursday and Friday 9am to 5pm each day. The role is based at our Head Office in London.
