About the role
Supporting a university placement, running until September 2025, we’re looking for a dynamic, customer focused Information Security Analyst to manage British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) day to day Information Security business operations.
You’ll cover people, process and technology across all areas of BHF and have daily management of Information Security processes and tools to ensure BHF maintains a strong Information Security posture.
You’ll also gain exposure to project related activity as a step for development.
Working arrangements
Please note this is a fixed term contract for approximately 15 months running from July 2024 until September 2025.
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
At the BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

About you
Working towards a STEM Degree, ideally in Information or Cyber Security, you’ll have an understanding of GDPR/Data Protection as well as a wider knowledge of IT/Technology Governance best practice.
You’ll have practical knowledge of IT/Technology Governance best practice and will be able to understand, analyse, interpret, explain, and summarise complex data and in a logical manner.
Able to think ahead and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, you’ll have excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt verbal and written communication to different audiences.
To be successful in this role you’ll also have the following:
