About the role
Joining our Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) team you'll support in the provision of a high quality peer support services for a range of audiences.
You’ll primarily support the delivery of existing and new peer support activity, both online and in a face-to-face group setting. This will involve working closely with heart patients of all ages, their families, and volunteer group organisers.
You’ll be first point of contact for our peer support groups and networks and coordinate regular engagement and communications.
Working arrangements
Please note this is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

About you
With experience of working with members of the public in a person-focused role, ideally working with patients or volunteers, you’ll be an excellent communicator, able to build sustainable relationships with diverse groups of people.
You’ll champion peer support, internally and externally, to patients and healthcare professionals, and will be able to plan and prioritise a variety of projects, making a vital contribution to developing our peer support offer.
You’ll also have a commitment to the values of peer support including a high degree of empathy for the needs of patients.
