The opportunity
Could you manage a defined group of products and services and set the direction and drive the delivery of work through a Product Owner?

As a Product Lead, working with our Finance team, you’ll work with the business and senior stakeholders and be responsible for execution of our customer-led, agile approach to product delivery, managing the overall prioritisation, customer value, communication, scheduling, resourcing and financial management of product delivery.

You’ll work with the wider Portfolio Management team and will work collaboratively with other senior leaders within Technology to progress the overall objectives of the directorate.

The Technology department is an integral internal partner for British Heart Foundation (BHF) to help deliver our overall organisational strategy, which is to support research and innovation, help people affected by heart and circulatory disease, and drive income growth across our commercial, retail, and fundraising offerings.

Working arrangements

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average.  The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

About you

With a high level of technical understanding of a range of technologies, you’ll have a high level of IT skill sets and will either have a formal qualification or experience of one or more of the following:
Scrum
Product Ownership
Agile

Additionally, you’ll have previous product owner experience, having worked within a business area relevant to the product and services used by BHF. You’ll also have previous experience of presenting and communicating information at all levels of an organisation.

You’ll have a strong understanding of customer needs and market trends and will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, allowing you to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders with ease.

Able to create and maintain a product roadmap, you’ll be proficient in prioritising features and requirements based on business objectives and user feedback and will be skilled in translating user insights into actionable requirements and user stories.

About us
