The opportunity

Are you an analytical thinker and problem solver?

Do you have proven experience working on large technology implementation programmes and/or projects?

Do you want to use your skills to help British Heart Foundation (BHF) fund even more scientific breakthroughs to help us save and improve the lives of families and loved ones?

If so, you could be the Business Analyst we are looking for!

About the role

As one of our team of Business Analysts, you’ll support the work in our Technology Finance portfolio and will lead, coordinate, and deliver analysis activities across a variety of business transformation programmes, projects, and digital technology products.

Working within both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of the programme, the processes, and the change management to leverage new capabilities.

Through effective data and information gathering, as well as effective facilitation, you'll identify business challenges and work with technical teams to create effective solutions, considering process alignment and documentation throughout.

Working arrangements

Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract.

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average.  The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do.

About you

With previous experience of working within a Business Analyst role, you’ll have previous experience of working within large organisations, able to implement change, and working with PRINCE2 and Agile SCRUM methodologies.

To be successful in this role you’ll also have the following experience and attributes:
Proven track record of building positive relationships and working with business stakeholders, colleagues, support teams and suppliers
Experience of planning and designing analysis workstreams across project and product initiatives
Experience of developing business cases for strategic change initiatives
Experience of reviewing current business processes and working with stakeholders to define effective improvements
Experience of eliciting business requirements using a variety of tools, to support design definition
Experience of solution evaluation and performance analysis for continuous improvement
Experience of systems and data analysis

An effective team player, able to support colleagues, suppliers and partners to deliver successful business change, you’ll be a strong problem solver, able to take a methodical and analytical approach.

With excellent communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly, you’ll be comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders and focusing on generating the most value for the BHF.
