Want to create digital experiences that make a genuine difference, inspire and change lives?
About the role
We're on a journey to become a truly customer-centric organisation, ensuring everything we do is designed around audience and customer needs. As part of our Digital Content & Journeys team, you'll help create accessible, engaging and high-performing digital experiences that connect people with the information, support and opportunities they need.
Working across a wide variety of content and customer journeys, you'll take content from concept to publication, using accessibility standards, SEO best practice and audience insight to improve performance and create better outcomes. You'll help identify opportunities to optimise journeys, improve discoverability and ensure content is useful, relevant and evidence-based.
This role offers the chance to work at the intersection of content design, user experience, accessibility and digital optimisation. You'll contribute to BHF's Content Review Cycle and upcoming CMS migration programme, working closely with colleagues across content, UX, data, technology and customer journeys to help modernise our digital experience and continuously improve how content is delivered across the organisation.
Ultimately, the work you do will help more people access information, support and opportunities that enable the British Heart Foundation to save and improve lives.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you'll already have experience creating and improving digital content and be passionate about delivering user-centred experiences.
You'll bring:
- Experience working in a digital content, content design or similar role.
- Strong experience writing and editing content for the web, with accessibility and inclusion at the forefront of your approach.
- Excellent knowledge of content design principles, usability, accessibility standards and SEO best practice.
- Experience using CMS platforms such as Sitecore and or Optimizely to create, manage and optimise digital content.
- The ability to use analytics, insight and performance data to make informed content decisions and improve user outcomes.
- Experience using insight tools such as GA4, Siteimprove, SEMrush as well as a working knowledge of HTML at an editorial level
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence explaining recommendations and influencing others.
- Experience collaborating with designers, subject matter experts and multidisciplinary teams to improve content and customer journeys.
You'll thrive if you're curious, collaborative and motivated by continuous improvement. You enjoy understanding user needs, solving problems through evidence and working with others to create digital experiences that genuinely make a difference.
