Join the British Heart Foundation’s Creative and Production Team and help bring powerful marketing and communications campaigns to life across the organisation. As Project Manager - Creative Team, you’ll be at the heart of our busy internal creative and marketing agency, planning and coordinating a varied portfolio of projects that support our mission to fund lifesaving research.
You’ll work with talented creative and marketing specialists, external partners and colleagues from a wide range of fundraising teams and specialisms. From shaping clear project plans and managing timelines and resources to solving challenges and keeping stakeholders informed, you’ll help ensure every project is delivered smoothly, on time, and to an excellent standard.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine strong project management expertise with creativity, collaboration and purpose - improving how we work, sharing lessons across the team and helping BHF deliver work that inspires people to support a world free from heart and circulatory diseases.
About you
As an experienced project manager, you’ll bring a strong understanding of creative processes, marketing and project management methods, gained in an in-house or agency environment. Confidently managing multiple projects, clients and deadlines in a fast-paced setting will be essential. Highly organised and detail-focused, you’ll use sound judgement to solve problems, balance competing priorities and keep work moving.
Clear communication and the ability to build effective relationships will be central to your success. You’ll enjoy collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, while feeling comfortable challenging ideas and welcoming constructive challenge in return. A customer-focused approach and consistent commitment to delivering a high-quality professional service are equally important. Strong written English, including grammar and spelling, will help you champion our tone of voice.
You’ll also be comfortable using Microsoft Office and current project management systems. Above all, you’ll be reliable, conscientious and compassionate, with the confidence and adaptability to make a positive contribution from day one.
Working arrangements
This is 6-month fixed-term contract. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. The contract will run for six months from the agreed start date.
This is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity created to provide additional capacity within our Creative and Production Team during a particularly busy period of activity. As the team continues to support a growing volume of marketing and communications projects across the British Heart Foundation, we have identified a temporary increase in workload that requires additional project management resource.
As a Project Manager - Creative Team, you'll play a key role in helping our internal creative and marketing agency plan, coordinate and deliver a wide range of projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope and to the highest standards. This additional role has been created to help the team manage increased demand while continuing to deliver excellent support to colleagues across the organisation.
The position is being offered on a fixed-term basis because it is intended to address a temporary resourcing requirement. The role is an additional position within the team and is not part of the long-term team structure. The contract is therefore expected to end after six months, when the current increase in workload and associated need for additional capacity is expected to reduce.
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. Currently, the team office day is on a Wednesday. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
