We're looking for a detail-oriented, compassionate individual, with experience handling a high volume of new starters to join our team.
About the role
As an Onboarding Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our people experience, guiding new employees through every stage of their onboarding journey. You’ll act with initiative, prioritise time-sensitive tasks, and keep things moving smoothly for the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end onboarding for all new starters.
- Sending offers and contracts, conducting compliance checks, and inputting personal data into our HR system (Workday).
- Tracking onboarding progress, chasing outstanding documentation, and ensuring start dates are met.
- Keeping hiring managers informed on the status of their new starters.
- Handling onboarding queries and escalating issues relating to offers or screening.
- Liaising with Technology to ensure equipment and systems are ready for day one.
- Contributing to process improvement projects that enhance the onboarding experience.
- Taking ownership of time-sensitive work to meet SLAs and keep the process on track.
Working arrangements
This is a P/T job-share role, where you will be required to work Monday to Thursday (28 hours). The other job-share works Thursday and Friday.
This is a blended role, with work split between home and our London office. On average, colleagues spend at least one day per week in the office, though this may vary depending on role requirements and team activities.
About you
We’re looking for a highly efficient professional with a background in Recruitment & Onboarding, who thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple priorities with ease.
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Have a solid understanding of right to work legislation and employment contracts.
- Bring proven experience with Recruitment ATS and HR systems.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, ensuring compliance and best practice.
- Communicate confidently, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships across teams.
- Manage high volumes of new starters while prioritising time-sensitive work.
- Show initiative and a proactive approach to supporting the team.
